Quick Beauty Tip: Less Is More

As I mentioned in my previous "Quick Beauty Tip" post, I noted that less is more. I wanted to discuss this quote, per say, in more depth. For my experience, a couple years ago I wore foundation EVERY DAY. I wore black eye shadow from my lashline to my crease, un-blended and I applied clumpy mascara. I kind of looked like a clown, without the blush. I was in a stage in my life where I thought that more makeup would make me look more experienced in the beauty world. But I was terribly wrong, my skin HATED me after the day. I'm not saying that you can't wear black eyeshadow or foundation everyday. I'm just saying, give your skin a break and blend out your eyeshadow.

After a hard day at school, or work, cleanse your face. My favorite cleansing wipes are the "Simple Cleansing Wipes". The have four different kinds, depending on your skin type. My favorite facial cleanser is the "Cetaphil Antibacterial Bar". And every once and a while, don't wear makeup! If you have acne prone skin like me, you'll regret it later if you don't. If you're going to the mall alone, don't wear makeup. You will probably never see those people ever again so, why does it matter if you don't wear makeup? After I stopped wearing makeup everyday and a lot of makeup, my acne cleared up so much! I think that stopping wearing makeup every single day was one of the best things I did for myself.

Now you try:

~ Don't wear makeup for 3 weeks or, after school/work take it off right away.

~ Tell your friends about your progress! :)

I want everyone to have bright, happy skin while the inside of you is happy too! Don't forget; I now have a Youtube channel where I post makeup tutorials and beauty tags or beauty videos!

Extra Beauty Tip:
Applying moisturizer before your foundation will help your foundation stay in place better all day AND it will help with smoother application.

Have a beautiful day!

Love,
